TEAM GEORGIA 18U QUALIFIES FOR ASA NATIONALS (5/7)
Team Georgia 18U, led by head coach Brock Radaker, punched their ticket for the 2012 ASA 18U nationals this
summer at the ASA Double Play qualifier this past weekend in Calhoun. Brock and the team did it the right way
staying in the winner bracket all the way to the end. Although they came up short against the GA Elite Gamers
in the championship berth game, they battled to an 8-5 win in the runner-up game to earn the 2nd berth. Brock,
along with assistant coaches Missy Radaker and Alan Meade, will take the 18U squad to Johnson City, Tennessee in late
July for the ASA nationals. Congratulations to the 18U team from the entire Team GA organization on earning their
berth to nationals.
TEAM GEORGIA WELCOMES 14U TEAM TO ORGANIZATION (ADDED 5/1)
Team Georgia President, Chris McRaney, announced today the addition of a 14U team to the softball program. The 14U
team, managed by Chris Sloan, will immediately join the 16U and 18U teams as part of the softball program. Assisting
Chris with the coaching duties will be the veteran coaching staff of Jim Butz, Charlie Catt, and Bruce Cutcliff. The
14U team, like the other teams in the softball program, will play primarily an ASA tournament and qualifier schedule
with the goal of qualifying for the 14U ASA nationals to be held in South Dakota this summer. For more information on
the 14U team or the Team Georgia softball program,

TEAM GEORGIA SOFTBALL PLAYERS AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL (ADDED 2/6)
In the next few days, we will be announcing the players that have committed to play at the college level along with
their respective schools. A significant number of our Team Georgia 18U players have been signed to play softball at
the collegiate level and others are in the final process of making their commitments official. Coaches Brock and
Missy Radaker do a phenomenal job of getting their players recognized by college coaches, getting their players
prepared to play at the collegiate level, and helping our players find a school that meets their academic and
athletic capabilities. The significant number of Team Georgia 18U players that will commit to play at the collegiate
level is a testimony to the dedication Missy and Brock have for their players. Check back soon for the list of 18U
players and their college choices.
TEAM GEORGIA SOFTBALL TEAMS READY FOR 2012 SEASON (ADDED 2/6)
The Team Georgia 16U and 18U teams have been hard at work over the winter preparing for the upcoming 2012 season. The
16U Jacobs team begins play the weekend of 2/11 with the Georgia Impact-Anderson friendly in Decatur and then the ASA
Season Opener in Savannah over President's Day weekend. Team Georgia 16U Restivo and Team Georgia 18U Radaker begin
play the weekend of March 10 with a Team Georgia hosted friendly at Johns Creek which also features Georgia Lynx 18U
and Team Georgia 16U Jacobs. For more details on the 2012 schedules for each team, visit the team sites using the menu
links to the left side of the page.
TEAM GEORGIA ADDS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL PROGRAM (ADDED 7/8/11)
Chris McRaney, Team Georgia Baseball Academy President, announced on Friday that Team Georgia will be adding a fastpitch
softball program starting in Fall 2011. The program will be known as Team Georgia Softball Academy and will initially feature
16U and 18U teams. Over the next few years, Team Georgia Softball is expected to grow adding other age groups until the
program encompasses teams ranging in age from 8U to 18U. There is a tremendous amount of softball talent in Georgia and
there are many fine organizations dedicated to softball such as the Atlanta Vipers, East Cobb Bullets, Georgia Fire,
and Georgia Impact to name a few. Team Georgia Baseball has been very successful in establishing itself as one of the
premier baseball programs in a very short period of time. The leadership of Team Georgia hope to take the same model
used in baseball along with the experiences and lessons learned along the way to establish Team Georgia Softball as one
the best softball programs in the state.
